This page contains the documents and guidelines to assess the usability of a building after an earthquake as per new framework for BDUA in Albania. They are divided in two parts:
Part 1: Technical
The BDUA Form is a tool guiding the assessors through the inspection process of buildings following same steps in a unified and structured manner. The BDUA form will also be available as an online application.
The Technical Manual for assessors details the methodology for the post-seismic damage and usability assessment of buildings, by analyzing the sections and required data of the BDUA form.
The Usability placards are the visual tagging of assessed buildings to inform occupants and the public of building usability status through clear, and consistent messages affixed at primary access points.
